Acerca del cáncer de pene
El cáncer de pene se refiere a cualquier cáncer que afecte al tejido eréctil. El pene presenta una variedad de diferentes tipos de células que pueden volverse cancerosas. El carcinoma de células escamosas es la forma más común, comprendiendo alrededor del 95 por ciento de todos los cánceres de pene. Las células escamosas son las células planas que componen la piel. El carcinoma de células escamosas puede ocurrir en cualquier parte del pene, aunque lo más común es que comience en el prepucio o en el glande.
Otros tipos de cáncer de pene incluyen:
- Melanoma

- Sarcoma
- Adenocarcinoma
Causas y factores de riesgo
Como todas las demás formas de cáncer, el cáncer de pene es causado por una mutación genética de las células que les permite crecer sin control. Ese crecimiento no regulado resulta en la formación de tumores y puede eventualmente extenderse a otras partes del cuerpo (metástasis).es).
Los médicos aún no están seguros de qué es lo que causa específicamente la mutación genética en la raíz de todos los cánceres. Los científicos han identificado algunos factores de riesgo para el cáncer de pene. La infección con ciertos tipos de infección por el virus del papiloma humano (infección por VPH) puede ser un factor de riesgo para el cáncer de pene. Los médicos han identificado la infección por VPH en aproximadamente la mitad de todos los pacientes con cáncer de pene. No estar circuncidado también puede contribuir a un mayor riesgo de cáncer de pene, aunque la razón exacta de esto no está clara. El consumo de tabaco, incluyendo el fumar y las formas sin humo, también puede contribuir a la enfermedad del cáncer de pene.
La edad también puede desempeñar un papel. El cáncer de pene es generalmente más común en hombres mayores. Alrededor de cuatro de cada cinco casos de cáncer de pene ocurren en hombres mayores de 55 años.
Detección temprana, diagnóstico y estadificación
Los signos y síntomas del cáncer de pene suelen implicar cambios en la piel del pene. Esto puede incluir:
- La piel se vuelve más gruesa o cambia de color
- Un bulto
- Una llaga (úlcera) que puede sangrar
- Pequeñas protuberancias con costra
- Un sarpullido que aparece rojo y aterciopelado
- Crecimientos planos de color marrón azulado
- Descarga o sangrado bajo el prepucio
- Tejido hinchado
Algunos de estos síntomas también son característicos de las infecciones bacterianas y micóticas como la infección por VPH o las verrugas genitales, por lo que debe consultar a su médico para obtener un diagnóstico completo.
El diagnóstico de un paciente con cáncer de pene comienza con un examen físico para evaluar cualquier bulto o llaga en el pene. Si los síntomas sugieren que puede tener cáncer de pene, el médico puede proceder a realizar pruebas de diagnóstico por imágenes para determinar el tamaño y la extensión de los tumores o la hinchazón del tejido eréctil. El médico también puede tomar una biopsia, que ofrece un diagnóstico concluyente para el paciente.
Si tiene cáncer de pene, el médico procederá a la fase de estadificación. La estadificación permite al médico determinar cuánto cáncer hay en el cuerpo y ayuda en el desarrollo de un plan de tratamiento. La estadificación del cáncer de pene utiliza el sistema TNM junto con las típicas etapas 0 a IV. Cuanto más alta es la etapa, más se ha extendido el cáncer a otras partes del cuerpo o más metastásico.

Dr. Bautista received formal medical training from Baja California State University in Mexico. He also holds a Masters in Nutrition from the same university. He has worked as a Director for alternative medicine hospitals. Early in his career, Dr. Bautista became interested in alternative cancer therapy and treatments and has studied alternative treatments extensively around the world.

Our alternative, natural treatment programs are completely customized and different for each person. Dr. Bautista personally evaluates each patient to design a holistic, alternative therapy program based on specific needs. He meets with every patient, every day, to monitor and evaluate his or her treatment and progress. This allows him to make immediate adjustments to treatments as needed.

We treat a wide range of patients with a variety of cancer types from stage 1 to stage 4, as well as patients with different autoimmune diseases, chronic degenerative diseases, and infectious diseases. All these factors, as well as previous treatments and medical history, impact individual success and survival rates.
Dr. Bautista will discuss your condition and chance of success during your initial consultation. Many of our patients do go into remission and see enhanced quality of life following treatment.

Dr. Bautista and our nutritionist will discuss your diet with you during your cancer treatment. Your specific dietary needs may vary, but we encourage you to eat a balanced, organic diet as much as possible.
We have an onsite chef that prepares organic, healthy meals at our center.
Costs and Travel Arrangements
A typical three-week treatment program costs $18,995USD, and includes all therapies, diagnostics, and a healthy, organic, breakfast and lunch (+2 juices/smoothies) Monday – Saturday. Room and other board, travel costs, surgeries, and blood transfusions are not included. Some very specific therapies may not be included. Depending on your stage and condition, you may need six weeks of treatment or more.

We accept major credit cards (some fees may apply), personal and cashier’s checks, wire transfers, and cash. You can also easily PAY ONLINE.
Airfare is not included in the program cost; however, transfers to and from the airport (Tijuana or San Diego) and transportation between our center and your hotel are included.
You may fly into Tijuana, Mexico or San Diego, California. Wewill make arrangements to meet and pick you up at either airport. We are only 25 minutes from the San Diego International Airport. You may also drive to the center. When you schedule your treatment, we will provide detailed driving directions.
