An active 73-year-old who’d never taken medication or had surgery in her life, Nancy first noticed something was off during a fast-paced volleyball game. A CT scan led to a cancer diagnosis that felt almost impossible to register for someone who “ate well and did everything right.” After meeting with oncologists in Seattle who only discussed chemotherapy, Nancy started reading everything she could find and knew, deep down, that it wasn’t the path she wanted — even as friends and family urged her toward the conventional route.

Flat on her back for three months and searching for alternatives, Nancy’s son found Immunity Therapy Center through a couple of “really obscure websites” and told her, “Mom, I think this is the one.” A one-on-one call with Dr. Alvarez convinced the family, and Nancy arrived in Tijuana on her birthday in January — despite friends who thought she was crazy for choosing that day. Two and a half weeks in, when she nearly gave up, her doctor reminded her that healing, like the disease, doesn’t happen overnight — and her numbers kept improving. Nancy was moved by the warmth of the ITC team, the full-body stem cell therapy, IV nourishment, and the attention paid to nutrition and mindset that she says conventional treatment back home never addressed. She arrived barely able to walk and left feeling uplifted, having built real bonds with fellow patients she still checks in on today. “I thought I was dying,” she shares. “Here I am.”
